UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE

This is a story of a woman that I hope can be a blessing for all of us

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree.

The last class I had to take was Sociology. The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with. Her last project of the term was called "Smile." The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions. I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway, so, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning. It was just our way of sharing special play time with our son. We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did. I did not move an inch ... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible "dirty body" smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men. As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was "smiling". His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance. He said, "Good day" as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue eyed gentleman was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them. The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted. He said, "Coffee is all, Miss" because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes. That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action. I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray. I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue eyed gentleman's cold hand. He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Thank you."

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, "I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope."

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, "That is why God gave you to me, Honey. To give me hope." We held hands for a moment and at that time we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give. We are not church goers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love. I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand. I turned in "my project" and the instructor read it. Then she looked up at me and said, "Can I share this?" I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class. She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God, share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my husband, son, instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student. I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:

UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this and learn how to LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS - NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.

If you think this story has touched you in any way, there is an Angel sent to watch over you.
An Angel wrote: Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

To handle yourself, use your head. To handle others, use your heart. God Gives every bird its food, but He does not throw it into its nest.

Reflection

"If you haven't had any trials in this world, it means you have been walking the same way as the devil does."

It means because you are walking in the same direction as the devil, or you are doing things that the devil is agree of, the devil doesn't bother to tempt you. What do you think of this phrase?
Many of us have some large trials in lives, however many more of us feel we don't have any trials at all or at least that's what we thought.
God has been so good to me and I am very blessed that I don't have any large trials. However, in the other side, knowing that phrase, it bothers me a lot. It makes me question myself, "Am I walking in the same way as the devil does??" I've been pondering about this a LOT. I am secure in my faith but there is still this little voice keep asking at the back of my mind, am i really a christian?
I've been searching for the answers and I've found it - thanks to my spiritual mother (she's the one who's in the pic with me) I do have trials in life, however they are not big enough that I don't consider them as trials. I struggled through my classes these past two semesters. Well, it's simply because I took more than I could manage. However, God is good. He helped me going through all and I excelled at the end. My family is still not christians and I've been praying for them. That too is a trial, I have to have the patience of waiting for God's answer because I know one day He will make it happens, He will answer my prayers.
See, if we just notice, there are a lot of small trials in our lives. Yes, they are small. But God is so good to us that He won't give us more than we can manage. I know, if He gives me a BIG trial now, I might not be ready for it yet. The time will come when we will have trials large enough that will help us learn and build our strength. So, the main thing here is not to count our trials, but be grateful of what we have. God is good. He has always been good to us. He knows us and He loves all of us. He is God and God alone. He is my God!
If you've been wondering about it like I had, know that you don't need trials to prove that you are a Christian. You always have trials everyday, temptations every second. But God is good that He won't give you a big one until He thinks that you are ready for it. My prayers are with all of you.

When I Think About The Lord

When I Think about the Lord,
How He saved me, how He raised me,
how He filled me, with the Holy Ghost.
How He healed me, to the uttermost.

When I Think about the Lord,
how He picked me up and turned me around,
how He placed my feet on solid ground

Chorus*

It makes me wanna shout,
Hallelujah,
Thank You JESUS,
LORD, You're worthy, of all the glory, and all the honor,
and all the praise...

Be Happy Right Now

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married,
have a baby, then another, get a new job, get a new house.
Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough
and we'll be more content when they are.

The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than
right now! If not now, when?
Your life will always be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.
Happiness is the way.
So, treasure every moment that you have and
treasure it more because you shared it with someone special,
special enough to spend your time with...
And remember that time waits for no one!

So, stop waiting...
...until your car or home is paid off
...until you get a new car or a new job
...until you go back to school
...until you lose ten pounds
...until you gain ten pounds
...until you finish school
...until you get married
...until you get a divorce
...until you have kids
...until your kids leave the house
...until you retire
...until summer
...until fall
...until winter
...until spring
...until you die!

There is no better time than right now to be happy...

Choose To Be Happy TODAY!

Steps to Happiness

You can't be all things to all people.
You can't do all things at once.
You can't do all things equally well.
You can't do all things better than everyone else.
Your humanity is showing just like everyone else's.

So:
You have to find out who you are, and be that.
You have to decide what comes first, and do that.
You have to discover your strengths, and use them.
You have to learn not to compete with others,
Because no one else is in the contest of being you.

Then:
You will have learned to accept your own uniqueness.
You will have learned to set priorities and make decisions.
You will have learned to live with your limitations.
You will have learned to give yourself the respect that is due.
And you'll be a most vital mortal.

Dare To Believe:
That you are a wonderful, unique person.
That you are a once-in-all-history event.
That it's more than a right, it's your duty, to be who you are.
That life is not a problem to solve, but a gift to cherish.
And you'll be able to stay one up on what used to get you down.

What is happiness?

A friend of mine asked me, "How come you are always happy? Don't you ever have any troubles? Why are you always smiling?" Well, I do have troubles. I did have a lot of experiences. But it doesn't mean that I cannot be happy because of all that. Happiness is a matter of decision. You can decide for yourself, whether you want to be happy or you want to feel depressed all day. I can decide to look at the bright side. I can make a decision to be happy!

A little story of mine. I have changed. I truly have changed the day I accepted Jesus. There is just this pure joy and peace in my heart. It feels like nothing else matters. Just knowing the truth that Jesus does love me have taken care of everything else. Of course there will be moment when my faith was challenged. I started questioning things. But the fact is, it is not about feelings. It is about the fact, the fact that we trust Him. Faith is believing what you do not know, what you do not feel. Whenever I have troubles, I know that God is still with me. Just knowing that He cares for me, take all my burdens away.

So what is happiness? For me, happiness is knowing that through all my trials, there will be a reward for me at the end if I pass the test. The reward is to be closer with Him that have brought me through it ALL. Happiness is a matter of decision. You choose today, want to be happy by keep trusting Him, or want to feel depressed and be a pain to all your friends *smile* I hope you make the right decision.

God bless you always.

How to Pray?

The following piece that I am going to write is based on the sermon that I heard last Sunday, Sept. 14 at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. B.J. Tatum as the pastor. The sermon was from Nehemiah 1:5-11. In this chapter, Nehemiah was praying for the rebuilding of Jerusalem's wall. King Artaxerxes was the only one who can give order whether to rebuild the wall or not. Nehemiah was the king's cupbearer, yet he didn't ask the king. He went to the highest One, the King of kings, God. In this book, we can also see one of the greatest miracle - God used Nehemiah and a small group of people to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem in a record of time. We can learn how to pray by analyzing how Nehemiah prayed.
1. Adoration. Nehemiah began his prayers by stating his adoration towards Him. He began by saying, "Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God.." THis is also how we ought to begin our prayers, by adore Him, praising Him. God loves praises from His people. Remember, it's all about Him.
2. Confession. You should confess your own sins. It is easier for people to detect other people's sins that their owns. Nehemiah confessed, "both my father's house and I have sinned." It is okay to confess our sins to Him. In fact, that is what He wants us to do. Confess it, then He will forgive you. He wants you to confess everything, be honest to Him. You don't have to worry that He will not love you anymore just because you have sinned. He will love you more knowing that you can be honest with Him.
3. Petition. Then say your requests. Nehemiah reminded Him of His promises. He was also praying for the king, "..in the sight of this man." He knew that only God can change the king's heart. Proverbs 21:1 said "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord." Whenever God gets hold of situation, He does not care whether it's a king or someone else. God has the last word and He can reverse and change the mind.

You may be wondering why i decided to write this article. I believe this is the biggest question that everyone has. How do you actually pray? Is there a right way? Jesus' disciples never asked Him anything explicitly except on how to pray. It is very unlikely that you go through life without problems. As Christians, you have to know how to handle it. Prayer is the key of success. God listens and He WILL answer prayers, at His own time, with His own ways.

Whenever you get a burden, understand why God put it in your life. God wants you to use it to minister to other people, to be a point of connection. You won't be able to lift the burden of someone else until you have felt the burden in your heart or until you understand the depth of the burden and can identify it with yourself. God will never use you greatly until you have suffered greatly.

When you pray, God gets bigger and man gets smaller. The problems will also get smaller. When you get right with God, you will afraid of nothing. We are worshiping in His majesty, the God of universe. Whatever the problem is on earth, there is no panic in heaven. He is still on the throne. He's still up there.

God loves you. He has redeemed you. He has suffered for you. You are His child. You can get an answer. No matter what you are going through, God is bigger. Christians have a great weapon, that is the weapon of prayers. Believe in the power of prayer!

These are just some guidelines. However, I believe you can do it in any way you want as long as you are sincere. There is no perfect prayer. Just remember, it's all about Him.

The Perfect Prayer

I may not know just what to say
Or how to put it into words sometimes.
My tongue gets tied
All the words of other men
Seem to sound so eloquent
Compared to mine.
When my brokenness is all I have to share
I may stumble and stutter, but to You
It's the perfect prayer.

I want to speak words from my heart
But I just don't know where to start sometimes.
What are my lines
I may not please the ear of man
But somehow You still understand
And It's all right.
If I'm honest You will meet me anywhere
And anything I whisper in Your name
Is the perfect prayer.

If I stood and paid You tribute
With a long impassioned speech
It still wouldn't mean as much
As when I fall to my knees.

When my silences are all I have to share
My quiet time I spend in thoughts of You
Is the perfect prayer.

In God We Trust

You always hear the usual stories of pennies on the sidewalk being good luck, gifts from angels, etc. This is the first time I've ever heard this twist on the story. Gives you something to think about.

Several years ago, a friend of mine and her husband were invited to spend the weekend at the husband's employer's home.

My friend, Arlene, was nervous about the weekend. The boss was very wealthy, with a fine home on the water-way, and cars costing more than her house.

The first day and evening went well, and Arlene was delighted to have this rare glimpse into how the very wealthy live. The husband's employer was quite generous as a host, and took them to the finest restaurants. Arlene knew she would never have the opportunity to indulge in this kind of extravagance again, so was enjoying herself immensely.

As the three of them were about to enter an exclusive restaurant that evening, the boss was walking slightly ahead of Arlene and her husband. He stopped suddenly, looking down on the pavement for a long, silent moment.

Arlene wondered if she was supposed to pass him. There was nothing on the ground except a single darkened penny that someone had dropped, and a few cigarette butts. Still silent, the man reached down and picked up the penny.

He held it up and smiled, then put it in his pocket as if he had found a great treasure. How absurd! What need did this man have for a single penny? Why would he even take the time to stop and pick it up?

Throughout dinner, the entire scene nagged at her. Finally, she could stand it no longer. She causally mentioned that her daughter once had a coin collection, and asked if the penny he had found had been of some value.

A smile crept across the man's face as he reached into his pocket for the penny and held it out for her to see. She had seen many pennies before! What was the point of this?

"Look at it." He said. "Read what it says." She read the words "United States of America."

"No, not that; read further."

"One cent?" "No, keep reading."

"In God we Trust?" "Yes!" "And?"

"And if I trust in God, the name of God is holy, even on a coin. Whenever I find a coin I see that inscription. It is written on every single United States coin, but we never seem to notice it! God drops a message right in front of me telling me to trust Him? Who am I to pass it by? When I see a coin, I pray, I stop to see if my trust IS in God at that moment. I pick the coin up as a response to God; that I do trust in Him. For a short time, at least, I cherish it as if it were gold. I think it is God's way of starting a conversation with me. Lucky for me, God is patient and pennies are plentiful!

When I was out shopping today, I found a penny on the sidewalk. I stopped and picked it up, and realized that I had been worrying and fretting in my mind about things I can not change. I read the words, "In God We Trust," and had to laugh. Yes, God, I get the message.

It seems that I have been finding an inordinate number of pennies in the last few months, but then, pennies are plentiful!

And, God is patient...

Have a blessed day!!

What a great story. In God we trust, indeed! Maybe we need a reminder each day to keep trusting in Him. He is a faithful God afterall.

Give a Kind Word

Do you know a heart that hungers
For a word of love and cheer?
There are many such about us;
It may be that one is near.
Look around you, if you find it
Speak the word that's needed so,
And your own heart may be strengthened
By the help that you bestow.
Never think kind words are wasted,
Bread on waters cast are they.
And it may be we shall find them
Coming back to us, some day.
Coming back when sorely needed,
In a time of sore distress,
So, my friend, let's give them freely;
Gift and giver God will bless.

What a wonderful world it would be if we all show to other people how we care about them. It always makes me feel good knowing that I have made a difference in someone else's lives. I am so grateful that God have put me in their paths. I would take all the opportunities I have to let the glory of God shines in this world. You didn't know what a difference your smile or your kind words will do to other people. You didn't know what they have gone through. Whatever you do, don't hurt someone else's feeling because you will be the one who end up feel worse than the person. We are created as God's image. God is love, so why can we give a little love we have to others? Spread the love and let there be peace on earth. I love all of you. Whenever you feel down, remember there is someone here who cares about you.

Give Thanks

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
~ I Thessalonians 5:16-8

In everything give thanks. It does not mean for everything give thanks to Him. Whatever your situation is, whatever you are experiencing, give thanks to Him. Despite your problems, there are still other things that you should be thankful for. Thank Him that He woke you up this morning, thank Him for another day to live, thank Him for a smile that you see from someone else, thank Him that you can see the beautiful sky and sun, thank Him that you can hear the sound of the music, thank Him that you can sing, thank Him that you can feel the warmness of the weather...if you can do all these things, you are still more fortunate and blessed than lots of other people. God loves His people. He would not do anything to harm His people. Remember that He promises He will not give anything more than you can take? Whatever trials or tribulations you have, they are for a purpose. They are to build you, to make you stronger each day, so that you can learn from your experience and you will be much stronger the next time it happens again. God love praises. God loves to hear your honest voice. Praise Him! Give thanks to Him, every day, every minute, every second, IN EVERYTHING.

May God bless you and keep you save always. May His peace always be among us. Stay strong. Put your trust in Him.

God's Listening

Sometimes when you speak to God
You think he doesn't hear
Your heart is heavy, feeling sad
And no-one seems to care

Your guardian angel's always there
just close your eyes and feel
The peace and love from God above
He sees your pain is real

He'll send the comfort and the peace
Just take his hand, you'll see
There still is beauty all around
All this he sends for free

God Made Friends

Dear Bonnie,

God made the world with a heart full of love,
Then He looked down from Heaven above,
And saw that we all need a helping hand,
Someone to share with, who'll understand,
He made special people to see us through
The glad times and the sad times, too;
A person on whom we can always depend,
Someone we can call a friend.

God made friends so we'll carry a part
of His perfect love in all our hearts.

from: Quick Inspirations

Friends are the most precious wealth we have. They are gifts from God that we have to take care of. Treat them with love as you want to be treated back. Be a real friend, and not just a 'friend'. A real friend is someone who knows all about you but accept you anyway. I am truly blessed with all the friends that I have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being as who you are.

Know Your Worth

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you, but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.

"Well," he continued, "what if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.

He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants this $20?" Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20."

"Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value: dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you." The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE.

You are special - Don't ever forget it.

Count your blessings, not your problems.

from: Quick Inspirations

God has created each of us differently and with such care. He is proud of all His creations. So, if He is proud of you, why should you feel differently about yourself? You are His child after all and you are special in His eyes. Don't forget, it's all about Him. It's not about us. So, whatever other people have to say about you, it doesn't really matter because it's about Him and you are worth as who you are. God loves you, and I love you too.

God's Love

"Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits..." ~Psalms 103:1-2

Greetings everyone! Praise the Lord for another day. Thank God for all His grace, mercy, and love.
There is a passage in a book that I am currently reading that I would love to share.

"The Lord cares so much for His children that every time one of them cries He sends an angel to hold that person in his arms and bring comfort to him. The people never realize this, of course, but it happens just the same. God has also created all of his angels with so much love, that every person has a special guardian angel who guards him or her because he has so much love for that individual that he petitioned Father for the job of guarding him from his birth."
Excerpts from: He Came to Set the Captives Free by Rebecca Brown, MD.

What a mighty God we serve. His love is abundant for us. I feel very grateful and blessed after I read that passage. I realize that even though we feel lonely, even though we are all alone, even though our friends abandon us, we still have Jesus who lives inside our heart. He is always there with us. He watches every step of our lives and He has a never ending supply of love, peace, mercy, strength, and grace. I knew that I have made the right decision when I decided to surrender my life to Him. What about you? How do you feel knowing the truth?

The Lord's Test

I woke up this morning
and knew that today,
The sun would not be shining
and the clouds would be gray.

As I stepped outside,
rain fell upon my head.
My car wouldn't start
so I walked to school instead.

I forgot all of my assignments
I failed all of my tests.
I dropped my head in disgust
and asked the Lord for one request.

"Lord, why is it that
things won't go my way?"
He gently replied,
"Dear child it is because
you didn't thank me yesterday.

I woke you up and enabled
you to see the sun again.
I gave you shelter,
protected your family, and even let
you make a new friend.

I blessed you far
greater than I ever had before.
But you were too busy to thank me once more.
You didn't feel sick
because I maintained your health.
You had money in your pocket
because I maintained your wealth.

You had shoes on you feet
and clothes to wear, too.
You had plenty of food to eat,
and what did you do?

You ignored me and went
about your tasks.
But when you wanted something
you never hesitated to ask.

I was there when you needed me
and that wasn't too long ago.
But when things started going your way,
it was me you did not know.

As if that weren't enough,
I provided your favorite luxuries.
This was something I didn't have
to do -- they weren't even necessities.

And when it was time to get on your
knees and show your gratitude,
You decided that after such a
fulfilling day, you weren't in the mood.

So I decided to
give you just a little test.
To show you how it would feel
to stop being blessed."

I began to realize what
the Lord was saying.
And when I got home, I fell
to my knees and started praying.

He said, "My child, you have
learned and you know I do forgive.
But remember to remember this day
as long as you shall live.

I love filling your life with joy,
and your pain I'll alleviate it.
But just a simple thank you
would show how much you appreciate it."

Have you thanked the Lord today for what He hath done for you? Not only for what He hath done, but for also who He is, our great God.
"Lord, I worship you, because of who You are, not just because the mighty things that You have done." Why don't you take a second and say "Thank You Jesus. I love You. Please teach me to be grateful and to love You more today than yesterday."

Come Before Winter

Sermons
from: II Timothy 4:19-22

In verse 9, Paul had asked Timothy to come diligently. Then, in verse 21, Paul increased the intensity. He asked Timothy to come before winter. There were several possible reasons why Paul insisted Timoth to come before winter. It could be because travel was impossible during winter at that time, or maybe Paul knew that he wouldn't be here, in the world, long and his time had almost come.

Two scenarios could have happened at that time:
1. Timothy dropped everything he was doing, got all the things Paul requested and rushed to see him. Then, they read bible together on his last days, or
2. Timothy waited until spring before went to Paul and he was too late - Paul had already gone and Timothy regretted it.

Winter will come. There are 3 things that we can see in this scripture:
I. LIFE'S GRAVITY/cycle of life/statement of life
There are cycles of life and winter is just one of them.
A. Springtime = time of opportunity. Right now we are at springtime.
Key phrase: Springtime = opportunity and we should take advantage of it because if we don't plant in the springtime, we won't reap the results in the fall. Springtime comes before winter. Recession always comes before expansion with regularility. If you have difficulty, you have to look at the future because opportunity is on its way - after difficulty, good time will come.

B. Summertime = learn how to nourish and protect your plants because summer is a lazy hazy day.
Key phrases:
- All good will be attacked in this life
- All values must be defended
- All gardens must be tended all summer because weeds go faster than grass

C. Fall = learn how to reap without complaint - take full responsibility for what happened to your garden. Fall is the time of human maturity.
Key phrase: Acceptance of responsibility is one of the highest form of maturity. If you take responsibility, it is a sign of maturity from childhood to man/womanhood. The only person who can hold you back from growing is yourself. Learn how to reap in the fall without apology - God has decided to bless you. When He blesses you, don't apologize to anybody.

D. Winter = represent the time of disappointment.
Learn how to handle difficulty because they come before opportunity. Winter makes you stronger, wiser, better. Learn to wish for more wisdom and not challenges.

*Springtime is like childhood - it goes by very fast. Summer is like youth, it moves very slowly. Fall is maturity days, when you are working hard and it happens so swiftly.

II. BLESSINGS OF LIFE - life's opportunity
Probably in our lives, there was grave of opportunity - opportunity we had, but we didn't take advantage of. We don't tell people how much we really care/appreciate them until it's too late. So often we take each other for granted.

*A friend is someone who knows all about you but accept you anyway*>

Come before winter - make up your mind that you are going to do something when you had the chance.

III. LIFE'S BASICS - come before winter
'Come' = God's great word to the soul. It is the last invitation in the bible - Rev 22:17. He made it so simple and uncomplicated, just 'come'.

*Come to Him before it's too late. We are at springtime right now and winter is in the corner.

**Preacher: Rev B.J. Tatum, Senior Pastor at Canaan Baptist Church**
**Urbana, IL**

Will you come to Him when you still have time? Or will you add the lists in your grave of opportunity? God will forgive you for all your sins as long as you confess them and bring them to Him. Leave them at the foot of the cross. You can be born again and experience a change.
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." ~Romans 10:9
You have the privilege to be His son and part of His family NOW. When He invites you in, what will your answer be?

May God bless you and keep you safe always. You are always in my prayers.

Great is Thy Faithfulness

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be

Refrain:
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
